Milestone moment in Manchester for the VAC UK team

The VAC UK team has reached a new milestone at Eccles New Road in Salford, where they have completed excavations on three separate sections of Eccles New Road.

The contract has had the VAC UK team working on a programme of gas main maintenance, to allow a pipeline engineering team safe, easy access to assess the condition of joints in the pipe and to carry out repairs.

Vacuum excavation has proved itself ideal for this task as the team had to negotiate a high density of services and utilities while excavating the required a 3-4m deep pits.
